Commission is a percentage of each policy's annual premium. Your contract level sets that percentage, and it rises as you produce.
- Advance
- 75% of your commission is paid up front, typically within days of the policy issuing.
- Vesting
- The remaining 25% vests at month nine. If a policy cancels before then, the unearned advance is returned.
- Overrides
- Build a team and earn the spread between your contract level and each agent's level on their issued volume.

I have no experience. Can I really do this?
Yes. Most people who join have never sold insurance. You'll get training, scripts and direct mentorship. What matters is that you show up, stay consistent and keep learning.
Is there an age requirement?
You need to be 18 or older to get licensed. Beyond that, age doesn't matter. People join as their first real career, as a career change, or alongside another job.
Is this commission only?
Yes. There's no hourly wage or salary. You're paid a percentage of each policy you write. That's the trade: no floor, but no ceiling either.
Do I need a license already?
No. Most people who join start unlicensed. You'll need a state life insurance license before you can sell, and we'll guide you through the course, fingerprints and exam. Most people finish in two to three weeks.
Is this fully remote?
Yes. You work by phone and video from wherever you are. You need a laptop, a quiet place to take calls and a reliable connection.
Which states can I sell in?
You'll be licensed in your home state first, and then you can add non-resident licenses as you grow. We'll help you choose the right ones.
